We are pleased to announce that a new physician will join our team in November 2025. We have also installed a debit/credit card terminal. which will enable convenient payment for our services. Please note additional updates.

Uninsured Services: Please advised that prices have been adjusted. Any forms that require completion will be reviewed and notified of the associated charge. Payment must be made in full before the form is completed. Additionally, please note that forms with deadlines must be submitted in sufficient time.
Prescription Renewals: All prescription renewals must be scheduled with your primary card provider to the end of your current medication. Phrases such as “It is just a prescription, it only takes two minutes” physicians must thoroughly review your medical history, assess any changes since your last refill, and may request additional laboratory tests or adjustmensts to your dosage.
Verbal Requests: Effective immediately, physicians will no longer accept verbal requests from support staff regarding medication requests, changes, lab requests, additional laboratory testing, or changes to referral locations or a general referral. Please schedule an appointment with your PCP to discuss such matters.
Appointment Reminders: We will make on courtesy phone call to remind you of your upcoming appointment. The only exception to this practice is if the appointment is scheduled within the same week.
Phone Call Appointments: Phone call are no longer available. All appointments will be conducted in person with your PCP.
Walk-ins: Walk-ins will resume November 2025.
Dr. Mawoyo: Maternity leave will begin October 23, 2025, congratulations and well wishes to Dr. Mawoyo and her family.
Uninsured Services: AHCIP does not cover transfer of medical records, travel advice and immunizations, some de-insured procedures, forms, reports or letters.
Payment for Uninsured Services: Payment is expected at the time of service for uninsured services.
Fees for Uninsured Services: Fees for uninsured services cover the time, expertise, and materials used by the doctor and their staff.

The Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan pays for many of the services you received from your doctor. The following uninsured services are NOT covered by the AHCIP:
- Transfer of medical records
- Travel advice and immunizations
- Some de-insured procedures (e.g., circumcision, wart removal)
- Forms, Reports or Letters
